In badminton, the group-stage match of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty scheduled for Monday was cancelled. World number-3 Satwik-Chirag were to face Germany’s Mark Lamsfuss and Marvin Seidel in their second group game. But Seidel withdrew after Lamsfuss suffered a knee injury. In such a situation, Chirag-Satwik got the benefit and entered the quarterfinals.
