Only vegetarian food will be available in government programs, VIP culture will end; Assam government’s big decision

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has made a big announcement on Monday. The CM said that VIP culture will end in Assam. Also, only vegetarian and satvik food will be served in all government programs held in the state. Announcing the end of VIP culture, he said that under this, vehicles and barricades related to the security of the Chief Minister are also being reduced.

Only vegetarian food in government programs

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said that this rule will apply to the food served in all government meetings in the state. However, this rule will not apply to government guests of the state. That is, they can get non-vegetarian food.
