Former Jharkhand minister and leader of Janata Mazdoor Sangh (Baccha faction) Bachcha Singh passed away on Monday afternoon at 12:20 pm. He breathed his last in a hospital in Dhanbad. Bachcha Babu was the younger brother of Surya Dev Singh. Bachcha Babu was an MLA from Jharia and was made the Urban Development Minister in Babulal Marandi’s government. He was ill for the last few days.
According to the information, a few days ago he fell in the bathroom, due to which his hip bone broke. After this he was brought to Delhi for treatment. He returned to Dhanbad from Delhi. Recently he was admitted to a private hospital in Dhanbad, where he died today at 12:20 pm. On hearing the news of Bachcha Singh’s death, a crowd of his supporters gathered in the hospital.

Let us tell you that three brothers including Surya Dev Singh have died. Surya Dev Singh had five brothers. Bachcha Singh was the third among them. After elder brother Surya Dev Singh and sister-in-law Kunti Devi, Bachcha Singh also became MLA from Jharia assembly seat. Jharia is considered the traditional seat of Singh Mansion. At one time Suryadev Singh’s name was famous in the whole of Dhanbad and the family of the five brothers was known as Singh Mansion. Bachcha Singh was also a part of this Singh Mansion family.
