The ongoing war between Israel and Hamas is getting more dangerous day by day. It is claimed that Israel has attacked a school in Gaza, in which displaced people had taken shelter. Dozens of civilians have died in this attack.
Palestinian health officials have claimed that Israel has dropped bombs on the school where the displaced were living, killing 30 people. Many children are also among those killed. On the other hand, Israel claims that it had attacked the Hamas command center in the school.
It is being told that this attack took place on a school located in Deir al-Balah, Gaza. Those killed in this attack included 15 children and 8 women. It is being claimed that more than 100 people have been injured in this attack.
At the same time, the Israeli army has issued a statement claiming that it had attacked the Hamas command and control center in Khadija School in Central Gaza. The statement said that this school was being used to target the Israeli army and store weapons. Israel claims that it had also warned the citizens before this attack.
After this attack, a crowd of injured gathered outside Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah. Many injured also reached the hospital on foot and their clothes were stained with blood.
Um Hassan Ali, a displaced woman living in the school, told news agency Reuters that she had returned to Gaza from Egypt with her daughter a few months ago. Her daughter was taken to Egypt for treatment. She says that her daughter was also injured in this attack. Another woman, Ibtihal Ahmed, said that she was sitting in a neighbor’s tent when she heard the sound of an explosion.
Israel has often been criticized for attacks on schools and hospitals. However, Israel defends itself by saying that Hamas has deliberately set up its bases in schools, hospitals and densely populated areas. Israel blames Hamas for these attacks.
The war between Israel and Hamas has been going on since 7 October. Then Hamas attacked Israel, in which 1200 people were killed. Hamas also took 250 civilians hostage. It is claimed that even now 150 hostages are in the custody of Hamas. At the same time, Hamas claims that more than 39 thousand Palestinian civilians have died so far in Israeli attacks. Israel says that it has killed more than 14 thousand fighters of Hamas and its allies in this operation.
