Murder case: In Jalore district of Rajasthan, a person was allegedly brutally attacked and killed while sleeping. Let us tell you that this person was a political worker and he had also contested the assembly elections a few years ago.

What is the whole matter?

Additional Deputy Superintendent of Police Rameshwarlal said that Vijayraj Dewasi was sleeping in his house in Bawatra village under the Sayla police station area on Friday night, when at around 2 o’clock, three to four unknown assailants attacked him with sharp weapons and then fled.

Police engaged in murder investigation

He said that Vijayraj was taken to the hospital in an injured state by his family members where he died. On the complaint of the family members, the police have registered a case against the unknown attackers and started investigation.

Relatives sitting on dharna

Vijayraj’s family refused to get the postmortem of the body done and are sitting on a dharna demanding the arrest of the accused. Police officers are trying to convince them. Vijayraj Dewasi was a political activist and he contested the 2013 assembly elections from Siwana seat as a Bahujan Samaj Party candidate.

Congress leader expressed grief

Vaibhav Gehlot, son of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, has expressed grief over the murder of Vijayraj Dewasi. He said that late night in Bawatra of Jalore, unknown criminals entered the house and killed Congress worker Vijayraj Dewasi. This shows that criminals have no fear of police and law. Jalore police should take immediate action on the case and arrest the criminals and ensure justice to the victim’s family.
