According to reports, Reynolds and Jackman’s film has made an opening collection of Rs 22.3 crore in all languages ​​at the Indian box office. It earned Rs 11.9 crore in English, Rs 8.1 crore in Hindi, Rs 1.2 crore in Telugu and Rs 1.1 crore in Tamil. On Friday, many viewers came to watch the movie in English language. Its occupancy in theaters was 33.32 percent.

With this, ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ has become the sixth biggest opening film in India. Before this film, ‘Avengers: Endgame’ (53.10 crores), ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ (40 crores), ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ (32.67 crores), ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ (31.30 crores) and ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ come next.

According to a Reuters report, the film earned $38.5 million (approximately Rs 322 crore) from its first screening at the US and Canada box office. According to the opening collection, ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ is at number 8 in the highest grossing films till date. This film is followed by ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ and ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.

It is expected that by Sunday, ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ will become the biggest opening film of 2024 at the domestic box office. ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ is the first R-rated film produced by Disney. Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin and other stars have worked in it. Jackman has returned to the screen in his role of Wolverine after years, which has made the fans very happy.
