9 KG gold found in businessman’s house… ED takes action in bank fraud case, seizes many documents

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the house of a businessman named Swapan Saha in Salt Lake area of ​​Kolkata. During this, ED has recovered more than 9 kg of gold. This raid was conducted at the residence located in BE Block. Along with gold, the ED team has also recovered cash and many documents. The total value of the seized gold has been estimated at Rs 6.53 crore. This action was taken in a bank fraud case, which is being investigated.

According to sources, during the raid, ED has seized more than 9 kg of gold from Swapan Saha’s house. The value of the seized gold is about Rs 6.53 crore. Apart from this, cash and some important documents have also been recovered from the house, which may be related to the bank fraud case.

ED officials say that Swapna Saha could not give satisfactory answers about the documents and gold, due to which it was seized. This raid has been done in a case related to bank fraud. ED is engaged in a deep investigation against Swapna Saha and other suspects. Financial irregularities and loan fraud were done on a large scale from the bank.

According to sources, ED is soon going to send summons to businessman Swapan Saha for questioning. He will be questioned about cases related to gold and bank fraud. The investigating agency is trying to find out from where and for what purpose this gold was collected? What is its connection with the bank fraud case?

This action of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) created a stir among the businessmen. There is a possibility of more revelations in this case in the coming days. ED has said that this matter will be investigated in depth and legal action will be taken.
