An elderly shopkeeper has been arrested after a video of him molesting an innocent girl went viral in Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh. The girl had gone to buy biscuits from a grocery store, when the 70-year-old owner started molesting the girl on the pretext of giving her the goods. The video of this act of the shopkeeper was captured on camera and is now going viral on social media.
In a village in Sultanpur, an innocent girl had gone to a general store to buy biscuits. In the viral video, it is seen that the 70-year-old man present at the store at that time kept talking to her for a long time instead of giving her the goods and when he looked around and felt that no one was watching, he did obscene acts with the girl. Not only this, the accused also gave some money to the girl.

Police registered a case under POCSO Act
Meanwhile, a boy reaches the shop and the girl takes the opportunity and runs away from there. This incident is said to have happened on September 3. Taking cognizance of the viral video, the police registered a case against the accused elderly shopkeeper under the sections of the POCSO Act and arrested him and sent him to jail.
