Cloudburst has brought a flood of deaths in Himachal. Seven people have died due to cloudburst in three places, Shimla, Mandi and Kullu. So far 50 people are missing in the accident. After the cloudburst, many roads are closed due to landslides, due to which it is a big challenge for the rescue team to reach the spot. Himachal Pradesh, which is already facing natural disasters like heavy rains, cloudburst and landslides, has now been hit by earthquake tremors.
According to the National Seismological Center, earthquake tremors were felt in Lahaul Spiti, Himachal Pradesh on Friday. Its intensity on the Richter scale was 3.2. However, there has been no loss of life or property in this.
People were sleeping when the cloud burst in Rampur near Shimla. The State Emergency Operation Centre said that the cloud burst occurred in Nirmand, Sainj and Malana areas of Kullu, Padhar in Mandi and Rampur in Shimla district. Shimla Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi told PTI that due to cloud burst near Shrikhand Mahadev on Wednesday night, there was a sudden flood in Sarpara, Ganvi and Kurban drains, as a result of which two people died and 30 others went missing due to rising water level in Samej Khud (drain) of Rampur subdivision in Shimla.

Officials said that in another incident of cloudburst in Rajban village near Terang in Padhar subdivision of Mandi district on Wednesday night, three people were killed and seven others went missing. Two houses were also washed away while another house was damaged.
