A 60-year-old man has been arrested for sexually assaulting an eight-year-old girl in Bihar’s Jehanabad district. Based on the complaint of the victim’s mother, the police have registered a case against the accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act.
According to the complaint lodged by the victim’s mother, the girl was playing outside her house in Supi of Tehta police station area of the district on Saturday. At that time, the accused lured her and took her to a deserted place. There he made her a victim of his lust. He also threatened to kill the girl.
A police officer said that when the victim returned home, she told her mother about the incident. After this, her mother approached the police and lodged a complaint against the accused. Based on this, an FIR was registered and the accused was arrested by the police.
Let us tell you that in August, a case of rape of a minor girl came to light in Munger district of Bihar. It is being told that the girl had gone to defecate, during which this incident was carried out with her. The accused tied the girl’s hands and legs and fled.
The victim’s father told the police that 26-year-old Vikas Kumar, a resident of the same village, had committed this crime. SP Syed Imran Masood said that the Dharhara police station received information that a minor girl was raped. After this the police reached the spot.
