A 6-year-old girl was kidnapped from Shastri Nagar area in Meerut on Monday. The girl was kidnapped when the school auto driver left her outside her house after school. After the girl was kidnapped, a ransom of Rs 3 crore was also demanded from the family. After which the family immediately informed the police. The police started checking in the entire area and started searching for the girl. A few hours later, the miscreants left the girl back outside her house. But the police was searching for the kidnappers and arrested all three kidnappers after an encounter late at night. In which two were injured by police bullets. They have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Encounter took place near Nauchandi Ground
The case is of Shastri Nagar of Nauchandi police station area of Meerut. Mehboob, who lives there, is a JE in Jal Nigam. On Monday, his 6-year-old daughter was kidnapped by people in a Centro car from outside her home when she was returning from school. After this, a ransom of Rs 3 crore was also demanded from him. After this, the police started checking in the area on the information and started searching for the kidnappers to catch them, then the kidnappers left the girl back at her home after 2 hours and fled.

Meanwhile, when the police investigated the whole case, they suspected Mehboob’s former driver Akash. The police received information from an informer that Akash was seen near Nauchandi Ground along with his associates. The police laid a siege to arrest him. Meanwhile, Akash and his associates started firing at the police. The police also retaliated and in the retaliatory firing, Akash and his associate Raju got shot in the leg. Both of them got injured. After which the police arrested both of them. At the same time, another associate was also arrested after laying a siege.
He had kidnapped his daughter after being fired from his job
The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The car used in the kidnapping has also been recovered from them. Its number is UP 15 AU 5451. Apart from this, a mobile and 2 pistols, 2 empty cartridges and 1 live cartridge have also been recovered. In this case, Meerut SP City Ayush Vikram said that a 6-year-old girl was kidnapped in Shastri Nagar area. After this, the entire area was blockaded.

About 2 hours after being kidnapped, the girl returned home on her own. But the police were busy searching for the accused. During interrogation, it was found that there was a former driver in their house. His name is Akash. Akash’s activities were looking suspicious and efforts were being made to arrest him. Some time ago, information was received that he was with his companions around Nauchandi Maidan. As soon as the information was received, a siege was laid and an attempt was made to arrest them. But they opened fire on the police.
After which the police also fired in retaliation, in which Akash and Raju got injured by bullets. While their companion was surrounded and arrested. Police said that Akash was fired from his job by Mehboob 6 months ago. He was accused of stealing Rs 50,000. Akash’s friend Raju works in Jal Nigam. In anger, these three had planned the theft.
