5th rank in the topper list… Police trainee SI could not tell the name of the governor of her state, could not even write in Hindi

Rajasthan SI Recruitment Paper Leak: The Special Working Group (SOG) of Rajasthan Police has arrested former member of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Ramuram Raika in the paper leak case of Sub Inspector (SI) recruitment exam. Earlier, SOG had arrested Raika’s son Devesh and daughter Shobha along with 3 other trainee SIs in the paper leak case. Shobha topped the exam and secured 5th rank, while son Devesh got 37th rank.

When SOG conducted the exam again, topper Shobha Raika got 34 out of 100 in Hindi and 24 out of 100 in general knowledge. If negative marking is given in the exam, zero marks were coming. Devesh Raika, who got 37th rank, got 67 and 69 in both the papers, but due to negative marking, he is also failing in the exam.

The surprising thing is that Shobha, who got the 5th position in the topper list, could not even tell the name of the Governor of Rajasthan and was not able to write Hindi properly. Whereas after getting selected, on the basis of his influence, Ramuram Raika got both his children Shobha and Devesh posted in the best place, Jaipur Commissionerate.

In this case, Additional Director General (SOG) VK Singh told, former RPSC member Ramuram Raika was also arrested on charges of providing for his children. Now he will be produced in the court on Monday.

Let us tell you that 5 trainee SIs including 2 women were arrested on Sunday for their involvement in the paper leak case of Rajasthan SI recruitment exam. All the five accused were produced in the court, from where they were sent to police custody till 7 September.

According to the official statement of SOG, the arrested trainees include Ramuram Raika’s daughter Shobha Raika and her son Devesh Raika, along with three others Manju Devi, Avinash Palsaniya and Vijendra Kumar.

All these five trainees were detained from the Rajasthan Police Academy (RPA) and brought to the SOG office for questioning. So far, three separate charge sheets have been filed against 61 accused in the SI Recruitment Exam-2021 paper leak case.

These 61 accused include 33 trainee SIs, four selected candidates who did not join the job and 24 people associated with the paper leak gang. The search for 65 other accused is still on.
