Qualcomm has launched its new processor, which will be for budget smartphones. The company has launched a cheaper variant of Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, named Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2. This processor will be used in entry level phones. This means that we will soon get to see cheap 5G phones.
Qualcomm Kryo CPU will have a maximum speed of 2GHz. It has been prepared on the same 4nm processing node on which Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 works. The company has made all the details of this processor live. Let’s know its details.
In Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 4, we will get support for 90fps FHD+ display. A screen with 120Hz refresh rate will be able to work on this processor. Apart from this, it will get support for 12-bit IPS and camera. This processor will come with 5G support. It will get support for NAVIC with dual frequency GNSS (L1 + L5).
What is special in this processor?
Samsung is based on 4nm 4LPX process technology. It will have a built-in Snapdragon 5G Modem RF system. It will have a speed of up to 1Gbps. It will support 16MP + 16MP dual camera at 30 FPS with zero shutter lag. Apart from this, support for 32MP single camera will be available at 30FPS with zero shutter lag.

Support for up to 108MP camera will be available on this processor. Talking about the display, support for FHD+, HD+ with 90Hz refresh rate will be available. LPDDR4X memory will be supported in this. This processor will come with Type-C charging support.
When will it be available?
Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 will be available in the market by the end of this year. This processor can be used in phones costing $100 (approximately Rs 8375). Xiaomi will launch the initial device with this processor, which will focus on markets like India.

Due to the new processor, the price of 5G devices will be reduced. Currently, we get to see many 5G phones in a budget of less than Rs 10,000. In this, some phones come with old processors, while the price of some will be less than Rs 10,000 after discount. With this processor, we will get 5G support in entry level phones.
