5 Hezbollah fighters killed in Israeli attack, rockets and drones fired from Lebanon

On one side there is Hamas in Gaza, on the other side there is a continuous conflict between Hezbollah and Israel in Lebanon. The Israeli army is fighting on both these fronts. There is a strong possibility of a third front starting with Iran. On Tuesday, five Hezbollah fighters were killed in an Israeli attack in South Lebanon. Among them was a big commander Ali Jamal Aldeen Jawad.

The Israeli Air Force has killed Hezbollah’s Radwan Force commander Ali Jamal Al-Din Jawad in an airstrike. His death has significantly reduced Hezbollah’s ability to promote and carry out terrorist activities against northern Israel from southern Lebanon. After this attack, Lebanon has also fired drones and rockets.

A large number of Israelis are reported to have been injured in the attack carried out by Hezbollah. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital. The IDF claims that the drone attack carried out by Lebanon has been destroyed by the Iron Dome. However, some drones have been confirmed to have fallen in Israeli territory, causing a large number of casualties.

Tensions are at their peak in the Middle East after the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyya. Meanwhile, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard commander Hossein Salami has said that Israel will be given severe punishment. Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasir Kanani was also present on this occasion. He said that Iran does not want to increase tension in the region, but Israel has foiled its efforts.

Let us tell you that on 7 October last year, Hamas attacked Israel and killed 1200 people, while taking 250 Israelis hostage. Under an agreement, Hamas has released most of the women and children, but it still has 110 people in its captivity. Israel is adamant on the release of these people. But Hamas wants a ceasefire without any conditions.
