25-year-old woman raped in Navi Mumbai, FIR registered against 2 accused

According to the information, the victim has said in the complaint that one of the accused raped her in Nagpur on January 15, 2021. After this, on January 27, along with his friend, he beat her up and physically abused her. The accused made her a victim of his lust several times.

A police officer of Khandeshwar police station said that based on the complaint of the victim woman, a case has been registered against the accused on Sunday under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. The victim has not yet told why she has lodged the complaint so late after three years.

Let us tell you that in the month of April also, a case of rape of a seven-year-old girl was reported in Navi Mumbai. This crime was committed by the victim’s neighbor. The police registered a case on the basis of the complaint of the victim’s family and arrested the 40-year-old accused.

According to the police, the accused and the victim lived in the same building in Ulwe area of ​​Navi Mumbai. The victim girl had gone to the accused’s house to play. An officer of the Sagari police station said that the accused had made the victim a victim of his lust inside his house.

The accused had sexually abused her earlier as well. He had shown her obscene pictures. After the incident, he had asked the victim not to tell anyone. Based on the complaint of the victim’s family, a case was registered against the accused under sections 376, 376(2)(j)(n), 376AB of the IPC.
