Showing seriousness on these cases of cyber fraud, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma said that the police has started investigation, he also appealed to the people.
The Assam Chief Minister appealed to the people to be cautious of such investment brokers who do not follow the legal process. His statement came at a time when many media reports said that many fake trading firms are operating in his state. These firms do not follow the guidelines of SEBI and RBI.
Many people lost their hard earned money
During this time, many people have lost their hard earned money, which for many people is worth crores of rupees. They have also lodged a police complaint. The Chief Minister said that there is no such system where these online trading firms have invested money. These cyber thugs were cheating people. These people were working illegally. The police has started taking action against them.
