In Worli area of Mumbai, a 52 year old man reaches a spa with his 21 year old girlfriend. At night two people come to the spa and take the girlfriend to another room. After this, they kill the man with a sharp weapon. In this murder story, the case of catching the murderer is shocking. Actually, the deceased had got 22 names tattooed on his body. He believed that these were his enemies.
On Tuesday evening, a man named Guru Waghmare reaches Soft Touch Spa located in Worli. Guru’s birthday was on 17th July, for which Guru’s 21 year old girlfriend and three friends demanded a party. After this, the five people reach a hotel in Sion for the party and party there.
After the birthday party, everyone comes to the Soft Touch Spa at around 12:30 in the night. After some time, Guru’s three friends leave, while his girlfriend stays with him. Two hours later, two people reach the spa and attack Waghmare with sharp weapons and kill him.

The Worli police was informed about the incident at around 2:30 in the night. When the police reached the spot, Guru Waghmare was found soaked in blood, his throat was slit. The police registered a case of murder and started investigating and four people including Waghmare’s girlfriend were questioned.
During the postmortem, it was revealed that Guru Waghmare had got the names of his 22 enemies tattooed on his thighs. Police say that the name of spa owner Santosh Sherekar is also included in these 22 people. Apart from this, two more people have been arrested along with the two alleged attackers.
Guru Waghmare used to threaten the spa owner and also used to extort money from him
Police say that Santosh Sherekar, the owner of Soft Touch Spa, was fed up with Guru Waghmare’s extortion threats, so he hired a contract killer to kill Guru. He paid Rs 6 lakh to 26-year-old Mohammad Firoz Ansari. Firoz Ansari and Santosh Sherekar knew each other. Ansari also ran a spa in Nalasopara near Mumbai, which was closed after a raid last year. This raid was conducted after a complaint by Guru Waghmare.
After this, Firoz Ansari contacted Santosh Sherekar and talked about extortion by Guru Waghmare and complaints to the police. Santosh Sherekar planned to murder Guru Waghmare. After this, Firoz Ansari contacted Saqib Ansari, a resident of Delhi. This entire conspiracy was hatched three months ago.
Reiki was done for three months before the murder
Before killing Guru Waghmare, Reiki is done for three months and information about Guru’s daily routine is found out. Firoz Ansari makes complete planning and prepares to kill Guru Waghmare in Santosh Sherekar’s spa.
The police have obtained CCTV footage from outside a bar in Sion, where Waghmare celebrated his birthday with his 21-year-old girlfriend. The CCTV footage shows two attackers wearing raincoats chasing Waghmare, who is on a scooter and reaches Santosh Sherekar’s spa.
One of the attackers reaches a paan shop near the bar and buys two gutkha packets, which were paid for using UPI. UPI records revealed that his name was Mohammad Firoz Ansari. Investigations have revealed that several calls were made to spa owner Santosh Sherekar from the phone number linked to Firoz Ansari’s UPI ID.
Firoz and Saqib Ansari entered the spa at around 1:30 am on Wednesday. There, they took Guru Waghmare’s girlfriend to another room and started attacking Waghmare with different blades of scissors worth Rs 7,000. One blade slit his throat, while the other stabbed him in the stomach.
In this case, Guru Waghmare’s girlfriend claims that she came to know about the murder at 9:30 in the morning. After this, she informed Santosh Sherekar. After this, it took more than two hours to inform the police about the incident. When the police reached the spot, they took Sherekar into custody for questioning. After questioning him for the whole day, he was arrested.
The role of deceased Guru Waghmare’s girlfriend is being investigated
Firoz Ansari was arrested by the Crime Branch from Nalasopara, while Saqib Ansari was detained along with two others while going from Kota in Rajasthan to New Delhi. These people are also suspected to be involved in the conspiracy. The police have arrested a total of five people. The role of Guru Waghmare’s girlfriend is also being investigated.
DCP (Detection) Datta Nalawade said that one of the arrested accused (Saqib) was caught along with two other suspects from the Garib Rath Express near Kota in Rajasthan and is being brought to Mumbai.
Another police officer says that Guru Waghmare has been extorting money from spa owners in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Palghar since 2010. Several cases of extortion, rape and molestation are registered against him. These include eight cognizable offences and 22 non-cognizable cases.
