17-Year-Old Arrested After Suspected Religiously Motivated Attack at Gurdwara in Kent

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and charged following an attack at a Gurdwara (Sikh temple) in Kent, England. The incident occurred on Thursday, where two women were injured in a suspected religiously aggravated attack involving a “bladed weapon”.

The teenager from Gravesend has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, threats to kill, and possession of an offensive weapon. Police recovered a bladed weapon at the scene, and stated that no one else is being sought in connection with the incident.

The attack took place at the Gurdwara in Gravesend, Kent. While the details are still emerging, authorities have described it as a suspected religiously aggravated incident. The two injured women did not sustain serious injuries.
