A case of gang rape of a 16-year-old minor girl has come to light in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Regarding this incident, the police said that a case has been registered against two people on Monday for gang raping a 16-year-old girl and posting her video on social media.
SHO Sanjeev Kant Mishra said that the girl’s mother had alleged in her complaint that on August 11, her daughter had gone to the farm where Akash and Ram from the neighbouring village gave her a cold drink laced with intoxicants and gang-raped her.
Mishra said that both of them also made a video of this act and posted it on social media. He said that based on the complaint of the mother, an FIR has been lodged against both of them, the age of the accused is around 20 years and the police is trying to arrest them.
Let us tell you that earlier in Deoria, UP, a case of brutality against a seven-year-old innocent girl has also taken place. Police has also arrested a person in this case. Police said that the 41-year-old accused had also tried to escape from police custody while being taken for medical examination on Sunday.
ASP Dipendra Nath Choudhary said that the accused raped the girl when she had gone to a local shop to buy milk. Choudhary said, ‘On Sunday, the police registered a case and arrested the accused.’ The ASP said that later he claimed to be feeling unwell and escaped from custody while being taken to the hospital. Police had formed three teams to trace him. He said that he was in Sonu Ghat area where he was arrested again after an encounter.
