15 August: Flag hoisting at 7.30 am, PM Modi will address the nation from the ramparts of Red Fort at 7.33 am

On the occasion of 78th Independence Day, on 15th August (Thursday), PM Modi will address the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort. All preparations have been completed for this. According to the information, about 6,000 special guests have been invited to watch the ceremony at the Red Fort in this program. The Indian team participating in the Paris Olympics has also been invited to participate in this ceremony.

On 15th August at 6.20 am all the NCC cadets will take their positions. After this all the preparations will be checked and at around 7.17 am PM Modi will reach Red Fort. At 7.19 am PM Modi will be given a guard of honour. After this at 7.26 am PM Modi will meet the chiefs of the three armies and at 7.30 am PM Modi will hoist the flag. After this at 7.33 pm PM Modi will address the country. After PM Modi’s speech at 8.30 pm the national anthem will be sung. After this NCC cadets and other soldiers will also leave the Red Fort along with PM Modi.

This program held at the Red Fort is public, in which anyone can go. There is a separate arrangement for seating for each class and they are given passes. Common people can also participate in this program and get their passes made. You can get these passes made online and offline.

If you want to get a pass made online, then you have to log in to the government website invitation, where you can make a pass by giving some details. For this you have to go to. After this, you can log in here through your phone number and OTP and after that you can get a pass made by looking at your details. After this you will get an e-pass, in which entry is made through QR code and there is information about your block etc.

In view of 15th August, special traffic arrangements have been made around the Red Fort in Delhi. There is a separate entry arrangement for people coming from Noida and a separate parking arrangement for people going to the Red Fort event. At the same time, security arrangements have been tightened in Delhi on 15th August and vigilance has been increased everywhere. Keeping in mind the inputs of terrorist activities just before 15th August, the Delhi Police Commissioner has banned the use of aerial equipment like paragliders, paramotors in Delhi.
