14-year-old girl kidnapped and murdered after she refused to marry, mother suspects gang rape

The body of a teenage girl stabbed to death was found in a village in the Paru police station area of ​​Muzaffarpur district. The family identified the body and accused a youth from the same village and his companions of kidnapping, raping and murdering the girl. The victim’s mother said that her daughter had refused to marry the accused. This is why the crime was committed.

The mother of the deceased girl has lodged a case of rape and murder after kidnapping against the accused youth and his five companions in the police station. The mother told the police that the accused is a resident of the same village. He had threatened three days ago that you should get your daughter married, otherwise he will kill her.

According to the victim’s mother, on the night of August 11, the accused came on three bikes with five companions. They abused and beat up the husband and son. When they protested, they broke the gate of the house and entered inside and showed the daughter a knife and a weapon and asked her to keep quiet. After that, they gagged the daughter and forcibly made her sit on the bike and took her away. When they raised an alarm, people gathered around. After that, a search was conducted, but the daughter was not found.

On the morning of 12th August, the body of the girl was found in a pond with her hands and legs tied. The mother has alleged that these people first gang-raped her daughter and then killed her. Paru Thanedaar Monu Kumar said that raids are being conducted to arrest the accused.

Muzaffarpur SSP Rakesh Kumar said that on August 12, the body of a 14-year-old girl was recovered from a village in Paru police station area. Based on the information, the police reached the spot and got the Panchnama of the body done and the body was sent for post-mortem. Three injury marks were found on the body. Her head, neck and palm were attacked with a sharp weapon.

According to the SSP, a weapon (khurpi) has also been recovered near the crime scene. There were blood marks on it. The FSL team is investigating. Prima facie it appears to be a case of murder, but how the murder was committed will be known only after the postmortem report arrives.

The family of the girl has lodged an FIR in this case in which there is one named accused and other unknown accused. In the FIR, the family has accused the named accused of wanting to marry their daughter forcibly. After refusal, the accused along with other unknown accused kidnapped their daughter from the house.

The deceased’s elder sister said that these same goons had earlier killed her husband in the same manner and thrown away his body.
These same people had forced my minor sister to marry them. When she refused, they kidnapped her from her home, raped her, killed her and threw her body in a pond.
