In the month of June, 1108 people got HIV tests done at the ICTC Center of the district hospital. Among them, 393 were men, while 715 were women. Among them, 10 men and four women have been found HIV positive. In such a situation, the number of HIV victims has increased in the district. All these HIV infected are taking medicine through ART. All of them have been advised to come to the ART center every month and take medicine.

HIV victims are tested for CD4 from time to time. They have to go to the ART centre and get their CD4 tested. ART in-charge medical officer Dr. AV Tripathi said that HIV spreads through unsafe sex, people who are HIV victims are tested for CD4 from time to time so that there is no problem in their health. It is kept in mind that if the patient’s CD4 is less than 350 null, then he is advised to take nutritious food.
